About Us
Dance Media Foundation Inc., a not-for-profit corporation, promotes the art of dance and dance education. Our principal goals include providing grants to other tax-exempt organizations that support up-and-coming dancers, choreographers, designers, musicians and other artistic individuals. We are expanding into new partnerships in south Florida to provide dance scholarship programs for underserved Title 1 students as well as students with learning disabilities. We are driven to advance the art of dance at all levels.

The 2023 Dance Magazine Awards was a huge success!
Since 1954, the Dance Magazine Awards have celebrated legends who've made a lasting impact on dance. These days, we go even further with our recently added Chairman's Award for distinctive leaders behind the scenes, and Harkness Promise Awards, a grant for innovative young choreographers.

Thanks to all who joined us to celebrate this outstanding group at Buttenwieser Hall at The Arnhold Center, 92NY, 1395 Lexington Ave, New York City on Monday, December 4, with performances and presentations for each honoree. This event was graciously sponsored by 92NY, University of the Arts, and The O’Donnell-Green Music and Dance Foundation.
